Causes We Care About
We support causes and movements related to improving mortality matters across the world. From the Death Penalty Project, to better funding for Hospices and Palliative Care, and the debate on Assisted Dying, we stand by those who are driving change.

In a world where so many people are fighting to keep others alive in the face of illness, disease, and poverty, it is baffling that the death penalty continues to end the lives of healthy and often young individuals in legal systems that are rife with flaws and prejudices. This incredible organisation exists to fight for every person facing the death penalty, and they need your support.
Driven by a belief that the death penalty is cruel and often discriminates against the poorest and most disadvantaged members of society, The Death Penalty Project is a UK based operation that spans international territories, working strategically to safeguard the rights of those facing the death penalty and other vulnerable prisoners.
The Death Penalty Project is one of the most successful litigation organisations in the world. Their work has saved the lives of thousands of prisoners and transformed the legal landscape in the countries in which they operate. They use the law to protect prisoners facing execution and achieve fairer and more humane justice systems. Please consider supporting them.

Assisted dying allows a dying person the choice to control their death if they decide their suffering is unbearable. It is illegal in the UK despite being legal in many countries across Europe. As a result, as many as 650 dying people take their own lives every year. The current law offers them no protection or support.
Campaign for Dignity in Dying is fighting for change in the UK legal system and needs your support. They are working to change the law on assisted dying and stop unnecessary suffering at end of life. They’re building the biggest ever record of support for legalising assisted dying, with 84% of the public supporting the choice of assisted dying for terminally ill adults.
On Friday 29 November 2024, a majority of MPs voted to support Kim Leadbeater MP’s landmark assisted dying Bill, bringing safe and compassionate choice at the end of life closer than ever before. This was a historic moment for this campaign, and with your support they have a chance of taking this even further. Please consider donating or supporting them in other ways.

The Living/Dying Project offers conscious and compassionate support to those facing life-threatening illness, to their caregivers, to those facing life’s most difficult situations, and to anyone committed to spiritual transformation. As one of the first ever support centres for conscious dying, this US-based organisation supports dying people worldwide.
They also provide contemplative education and training to those dedicated to this transformative work. Using wisdom gathered from decades of guiding the dying, intensive meditative and devotional practices, and the study of how our psychological development often limits the fruits of our spiritual practice, they offer face-to-face, telephone, and online opportunities for deep exploration of healing.
The services, practices, and guidance offered are tailored to each individual and relies upon the generous donations and fundraising of their supporters. Please consider donating, fundraising, spreading the word, or enrolling onto a course.
