Abbie's Fund was established to raise money to provide memory boxes for the Maternity Unit at Hull Royal Infirmary’s Women and Children’s Hospital, to give to parents who have lost babies. 15 babies are stillborn or die soon after birth in the UK every day through complications, miscarriage, SIDs or illness and it is a devastating, life changing event.

This happened to the Founders of Abbie's Fund, and the care and support they received from the midwifery staff that looked after them inspired them to give something back to help others who find themselves in this terrible position. They created the fund in memory of their baby daughter Abbie.
