Caroline Edmeades
Bereavement Lead
With an MSc in Nutritional Sciences, Caroline has a background in preventative healthcare, spending years advising on exercise, nutrition, stress, behavioural change, sleep, and mood regulation, before stepping into corporate engagement strategies. Caroline works in project management for the healthcare sector and has led on projects for some major names such as BUPA. Her personal experience with bereavement comes from losing her father to prostate cancer, an unexpected diagnosis that threw Caroline and her family into despair and uncertainty. At the time, Caroline's knowledge of healthcare became both a blessing and a curse, as she felt herself shift from being the “baby” of the family to a case manager for her father’s palliative care. A year after his death, Caroline sought grief counselling to work through her pain and loss. Now 7 years on, she still checks in with herself sometimes. Caroline sees the good in most people and situations, and we are so grateful to have her onboard as a Bereavement Lead to help drive change for those facing the loss of their father.
